Earlier this week I got to spend some time exploring the Palace of Westminster, better (although inaccurately) known as the Houses of Parliament. I took this photograph in Westminster Hall, the oldest part of the palace. You can learn more about this fantastic space, its eleventh century origins, and its glorious fourteenth century hammerbeam roof, on the Parliament website.
It is the most stunning space. My phone’s camera doesn’t really do it justice.
